Responsibilities :

• Implement network infrastructure and server hardware installations and configurations
• Physically install servers, update firmware, perform prechecks, and execute configurations and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with local and overseas deployment team to execute network and server implementations
• Engage and develop good relationships with customers and partners, capturing requirements, proposing technical solutions
• Deliver, set up & install devices at user sites
• Conduct site check, site preparation, equipment staging, installation and commissioning and user acceptance test along with project documentation upon completion
• Manage project implementation progress, identifying, resolving, and escalating issues to customers and internal teams as needed
• Configure firmware, utilities, and drivers
• Troubleshoot bugs and configuration errors, coordinating with OEMs and product teams to address open tickets

 Requirements :

• Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline
• 1-3 years solid experience in IT administration & support with a basic understanding of network and server technologies
• Basic knowledge of VMware and virtualization technologies
• Experience with server rack and stack setups, including hardware configurations and power requirements of physical servers
• Familiarity with server backend cabling and network cabling
• Experience with major server products (e.g. HPE, Dell, Lenovo, etc.) and certification in one or more of these hardware brands is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of ticketing tools such as Smarts, ServiceNow, NLyte, Appeture, as well as collaboration tools like Teams, Outlook, and Zoom is advantageous
• Hands-on experience with server hardware platforms, including Dell x86 servers, HPE Gen9, and Lenovo Think Systems rack servers is preferred
• Experience with HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) and Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) management
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Independent, responsible, responsive, hardworking, self-disciplined, self-motivated and eager to learn
• 5 days work / week (Non-fixed day)
• Require to perform shift and overnight duty with onsite support (Non-fixed working hours)
• Off-site standby maybe required
