Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess technical requirements and deliver cutting-edge solutions. To participate and supervise junior staff to perform front-end and back-end  development.
• Leadership in Technical Discussions: Lead technical negotiations and discussions with both external vendors and internal IT departments to drive strategic initiatives.
• Technical Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical design and architecture documents to guide and document development efforts.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, driving root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Technical Expertise: Exhibit deep knowledge in programming with Java, Vue.js/React, and mobile application development.
• Advanced Technology Integration: Utilize advanced cloud technologies, containerization, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices to enhance development efficiency and scalability.
• Platform Management: Oversee operational and functional support for e-commerce platforms, ensuring robust performance and user satisfaction.
• User Support: Respond to queries and support requests from the China team, ensuring clear communication and quick resolution of issues.
• Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate the development of expertise and conduct knowledge transfer sessions among key team members to foster a learning environment.
• Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with project managers and IT leadership to effectively communicate technical details and project updates to stakeholders.
• Maintenance Oversight: Provide regular updates on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement activities for e-commerce platforms.
• Industry Trends Awareness: Stay updated with the latest digital trends in the APAC region and identify opportunities for technological advancements and improvements.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a technical lead in developing digital applications, with a strong focus on e-commerce and mobile apps, preferably in the retail, FMCG, or similar industries.
• Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of process design, methodologies, and tools, including expertise in AliCloud and API development.
• Systems Integration Experience: Hands-on experience in integrating with heterogeneous systems, including CRM, ERP, and enterprise service bus/API platforms.
• Collaborative Skills: Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across various functional teams.
• Communication Skills: Strong presentation and communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
