System Engineer – Operation Support of Storage, Backup & Core IT Infrastructure

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to customers in the configuration, operation of enterprise SAN storage systems and backup & restore systems 
• Perform migration tasks of business-critical SAN storage systems to meet tight project schedules. These include pre-migration backup tasks and post-migration storage configuration tasks
• Communicate and coordinate with different parties to ensure smooth migration that meet tight project timelines
• Proactively identify potential issues and seek solutions to ensure successful migration 
• Perform ongoing support tasks of storage management and backup & restore operation

Job Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in IT or relevant qualifications 
• Working experience in IT core Infrastructure is preferred. 
• Knowledge and experience in configuration and operation of SAN storage systems (e.g. NetApp, HPE), Backup & restore solutions, Windows Server, Server Virtualization platform (e.g. VMware). 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible to work overtime to meet project schedules and task requirements
