Job Responsibilities

• Support existing System Consultant and Engineer teammates together to work on customer satisfaction by providing Enterprise hybrid cloud, BCP and Unified storage solution for different typical customer workloads or concerns (e.g. Physical server, Storage, basic networking, VM, container, Database, cloud IaaS, SaaS, Cyber security, etc.,)
• Participate in project execution with our project manager/ project architects/ project consultants (from infra, network & cyber security team, database team, Container and AI team) for smooth project execution and customer success.
• Attend assigned IT vendors' official trainings (e.g. RedHat, VERITAS, VMware, Azure, AquaSec, Netskope, Enterprise KVM solution, etc.,) and acquire corresponding qualification or certificate to become expert consultant on solutions within  RedHat Linux OS and Ansible Automation, Enterprise KVM, K8s, Backup recovery solution and Cloud solutions.
• Regular self progress review and reporting to Team head on weekly basis and to Technical Director for team resources, project schedule, risk and skill management by monthly basis.
• Share with the team to support after office hour helpdesk roster duty around 1-2 months within a year with extra allowance.
• Assist senior teammates on other technical related tasks including partner/ customer technical workshop, product evaluation, demo, implementation support and onsite customer POCs if neccessary. 

Requirements

• Associate degree or above in IT, E-commerce, Engineering, Science or Business disciplines
• Computer knowledge, experience in MS windows, backup solution and basic networking/ cyber security concept are required
• Self-motivated, strong analytical reasoning, good communication skill and problem solving skills
• Concept or Working experience in private Cloud (VMware, or K8s) and Linux platform will be an advantage
• Holder of Microsoft, Linux, any cloud or Server management certificate will be a plus
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
• 2 years in-house IT administrator or System Integrator / Distributor technical hand-on experience is preferred. Candidate with less experience or knowledge will still be considered as Junior SE position. Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior SE or presales position.
