Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the software development and execution of software solutions, managing the software engineering team and vendors, and collaborating with different IT teams and other departments to achieve IT goals.

He/ She will involve in design, development, testing and deployment of high-quality software solution, work with project manager to arrange resources for the project execution, conduct code review and ensure the quality of the delivered software. He/ She will also mentor and develop team members, and foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of experience in application software development
• Proven experience in managing application development including low-code development tool (e.g. dotNet C#, Outsystems, PowerAutomate, SAP ABAP programming, SAP Fiori), secure application and software architecture design
• Familiar with database administration (preferably MS SQL, MySQL), cloud & SaaS platform (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
• Excellent leadership skill, project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and able to motivate teammates
• Excellent people management skills, customer-centric and good business acumen
• Can-do attitude. Strong in problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, organizing and analytical skills
• Experience in the following is an advantage:
  • Server management (e.g. Microsoft Windows Server)
  • Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Azure Pipeline
  • Agile methodology
• Excellent spoken and written communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
