Job Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D in Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) related areas, define requirements, specifications, and innovative design to contribute to ASTRI’s V2X software system
• Perform R&D on next generation V2X systems with in-vehicle interaction system, virtualised, cloud-based vehicle device and data management platform
• Perform R&D on latest Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) software system, with objective to deploy commercial trials and rollouts in the market in partnership with industry leaders in this area
• Research and build up know-how and hands-on experience in one of the following areas:
  1. Design and implement user-friendly web pages and mobile applications, ensure high quality graphic standards.
  2. Developing features to enhance the user experience.
  3. Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
  4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  5. Collaborate with back-end developers to improve usability
  6. Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or relevant field.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a deep understanding of web standards and accessibility
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React and Vue.js
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser & cross platform compatibility issues
• Experience with android/iOS development would be a plus
• Experience with any data visualization tools such as d3.js and nivo would be a plus
• Experience with any 3D visualization tools such as Three.js and Unity would be a plus
• Experience with any geospatial and mapping tools such as leaflet and Mapbox would be a plus
• Experience with any graphic design applications/tools would be a plus.
• Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies, programming languages, and best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates with less experience will also be considered
• Good command of both written/spoken English and Chinese
