Job Requirements:
- Follow up and resolve technical issues to ensure product features and performance can be achieved, and feasible for mass production
- Facilitate product in-house test plans
- Communicate with product development team on technical specifications & requirements through the product development process to ensure technical specification, safety and compliance are met.
- Establish product specifications and test plans with supplier production teams to develop high-volume and quick- turnaround manufacturing processes and capabilities for new product implementation (NPI)
- Collaborate with vendor / factory engineer to analyze the product development and product test requirements
- Liaise with test laboratories to ensure products and material used are complied with the test standards
- Manage the test facility in Hong Kong office
- The ability to work independent or part of a larger team, with the mentality & work ethic of a leader.
- Ensure project schedule and deliverable to be completed on time
- Flexible working times and willing to work after hours if needed.
Key requirements:
- University graduate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related engineering
- At least 5 years solid experience in the electronic consumer product development field
- Good understanding on product safety requirements and country regulations in the US/UK/EU markets
- Excellent command in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with counterparts
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Mature, self-motivated, with good analytical and problem solving skills
- Understand electronic hardware in component level, able to check and comment on electronic circuitry and IC solution
- Hands on experience in operating test equipment such as voltmeter, ammeter, oscilloscope & Integrating Sphere
- Knowledge of electronic component applications, testing skills and hardware circuit design is a must
- Travel to China and work with the factory teams in Pilot Run / Mass Production is required
- Permanent Hong Kong ID Card holder
